Description of Services: Supports for older adults, and adults with disabilities * helps people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible

Companionship, respite care, and emotional support to people and their family/caregivers dealing with a life-threatening illness * bereavement support for anyone who has experienced the death of someone close * services can be provided at home, or in hospitals and long-term care homes

Resource Library - End-of-life care collection available for loan * includes literature, audio, and video

Bereavement Services - Support groups for all ages held in various communities throughout the year * education about the grief process for both children and adults

Hospice services begin at the time of diagnosis
 
Bears and Kits for Kids Program for children dealing with a life threatening illness, either their own, a family member or a friend * support also provided for children that have experienced a loss or death * items are designed to facilitate discussions of feelings and to encourage and develop a healthy understanding of dying and grief
 
Grief and Bereavement Outreach Provides education  and one-on-one support to both the caregivers, families and the bereaved about the grief process
 
Visiting Volunteer Program Psychological and emotional support for anticipatory, acute and chronic grief for people facing the challenge of a life-limiting illness
